he minute our children are born they steal our hearts forever. A book about the unique bond between mothers and daughters.
The idea for this book came from a letter I wrote to my daughter when she was only two years old. As the relationship between a mother and a daughter often goes through hell and high water at around about the time of adolescence, I wanted her to remember that, no matter what, I would always be there beside her, her guardian angel, her greatest supporter.
One Heart is dedicated to the long sequence of women who alternate in the role of mother and daughter. It is a book about everything we would like to say to our daughters and to our mothers but often put off for another time, a time that never comes...

Review from a teacher:
I read Being Silly, Not a Bully to my 1st graders. It is the first one in the Discovering The Difference series and a short chapter book that is highly engaging. The children were buzzing about the topics and had a lot in common with the characters. Using the questions in the back, we had a lively discussion. Not only did they learn more about standing up for themselves and others, they learned about being kind and accepting others regardless of culture and ethnicity. I was lucky enough to have Myrna available online to talk with my students and answer questions. This was quite a treat and an amazing experience for them! All of my future students will enjoy more books in the series. Myrna is truly an amazing author!
